The new version of the ISCCBE website has been launched since April, 2005. In order to stimulate discussions and exchange opinions between BOD members in countries around the world, the revised website has added a powerful function for the society: a BOD forum. Besides, the new website has a more contemporary looks and is easier and friendlier for users to browse through. The website is not exclusively for the society members, we also sincerely welcome individuals and professionals who are interested in the field of Computing in Civil and Building Engineering. We hope this revision brings the ISCCBE member countries and the professionals around the globe more closely, and can work more efficiently together.

The Joint International Conference on Computing and Decision Making in Civil and Building Engineering will be held in Montreal, Canada, on June 14-16, 2006.

The upcoming Joint International Conference on Computing and Decision Making in Civil and Building Engineering http://www.icccbexi.ca which will be held in Montreal (Delta Centre-Ville Hotel), Canada, on June 14-16, 2006. It is the first time that the following three streams of conferences gather together at a joint Conference under a common theme: Building on I.T.. It will thus be the largest gathering in computing and decision making in civil and building engineering in 2006, which is hosted by:

ICCCBE-XI
11th International Conference on Computing in Civil and Building Engineering

ICCC-ASCE
2006 International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering of ASCE

DMUCE-5
5th Conference on Decision Making in Urban and Civil Engineering

The convergence of these three conference streams will provide a unique opportunity for professionals and researchers who are interested in computing, information technologies, and decision making applications in a wide range of civil engineering disciplines to come together. It will provide an opportunity to learn, share and exchange about the latest developments and research about this fast pace field. Montreal's unique mix of old world charm, French joie de vivre and modern style will provide an unforgettable backdrop to this happening.

Original research papers are solicited on the design, development and use of computing, IT, and decision support systems in the domain of civil, building, and urban engineering. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

- AI/Machine Learning
- Applied Computer Vision
- Computing Advances in Building, Civil, and Urban Engineering
- Augmented and Virtual Reality
- Automation/Robotics
- Case Studies in the use of IT
- Computer-Aided Construction
